Where did March go!?
The One Little Word prompt this month was to create a vision board. I only had a few magazines lying around and none of the images were very inspiring so I decided to stick with words this time instead of a collage…I am pretty happy with how it all came together.
I started by cutting out any word/grouping of words that caught my attention as I quickly flipped through the 4 magazines. After piling them up I took a gander at what I had and played with them like a puzzle until they "fit" in my mind and tossed the words that didn't work. I love poetry and I used to write a lot back in the day so this felt pretty natural to construct a phraze.
I really like the words and how it turned out but without altering it I don't think it will fit with the style in any of our living spaces…the ideal place to hang it would be above my craft desk to see it often but right now my space is in the unfinished basement and the walls are covered in insulation. So my plan for now is to use the photo I took and put it in my OLW binder for the month and call it good. 🙂
How I read my "poem" in my head:
Simply put: let go of control, tension & perfection.
Time to blend messy and imperfection with determination, goodness, love, confidence & courage.
Time to expect more, more opportunities, balance, focus, endurance, inspiration, reason to smile, great relationships, growing, beauty in the mess, energy & play.
End scene. 😉
It feels like a personal little pep talk, for me, from me. 🙂
